We are always looking for volunteers throughout the year to help prior to the Festival as well as during the Festival. Join us and make a difference in the lives of young readers and families alike!

Prior to the Festival
The Festival has an organizing committee of wonderful people who love children, reading, and literacy. We conduct our meetings via telephone conference call and as the festival date nears we meet in person on the campus of Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa.

- Festival marketing posters and bookmark deliveries to schools and local businesses
- Children’s nonprofit contacts and literacy programs research

During the Festival
There are lots of openings for participation on many levels and abilities. We welcome everyone’s help: service clubs, trade associations, Chambers of Commerce, churches, school groups, Scouts, seniors, and individuals!
